Second Sundays July 13

This coming Sunday, July 13, we will meet together again for our Second Sundays international fellowship afternoon at Singelkerk. After the Dutch morning service has ended, there will be a chance for coffee and visiting from 11:45 onward, and the service will start at 12:15. We will join together in worship through a combination of music, scripture, poetry, and prayer.

Like usual, this will be followed by a potluck lunch at 1:00 (if you can, please bring something yummy to share).

Looking ahead to August: Summer is here and many of you are probably taking some time off, or traveling, now or in weeks ahead! With this in mind, in August we will have a more informal picnic get-together at the Westerpark on Sunday, August 10.

Volunteering list: Are you interested in helping with scripture reading, setting up chairs, passing out the bulletin, getting out the potluck plates, or helping with the service in other ways? Please let me know! I’m making a list of folks who have indicated they are happy to help out.

Feel free to get in touch to find out more about transferring membership or participation in a baptism preparation group. A more informal ‘friend’ affiliation is also possible.
